Look Around

There are the clouds,

wispy, white pulled across the sky like torn cotton candy at a fair just before it is

eaten.

There is the sky,

so blue and deep, there to drive imagination and to limit goals during the day.

There are the trees, ancient, standing tall forever (my lifetime) they do not seem to mind as we pass beneath them, they stand there with a look that denies all knowledge of human existence on earth or anywhere else for that matter, the gray, curled spanish moss hangs lazily from slow growing branches trying its best to make it to ground, a much more comfortable seat,

There is the forest so deep and silent that calls us in, and invites us to wander within its walls, looking into its mist it is infinite, the trees weave a pattern that lies to one’s sense of depth, strikes a flame in the heart of curiosity, and says,

Come, Come, Come

These often-overlooked creatures of reality are there for us to see,

See them, feel them, let their energy and sense of time envelope you,

And learn.
